Thank goodness there was a suitable starter on the menu for madam, she was getting a bit touchy having gone an hour without a cherry tom.

A very pleasant visit to Buckinghamshire's equivalent to Fawlty Towers. Us northern folk really enjoy giving elocution lessons to our much loved but less well spoken friends.

A splendid evening in the Rose and Crown was had by all. Great company, plenty of laughs. What else does one need?
Just a little more respect would be nice actually 'if you will'
