An early birthday present!

I was a bit all over the place this morning what with all the things I felt I had to get sorted today.

Really good sermon at church.

God is good - so we don't need to look elsewhere
God is great - so we don't need to be in control
God is glorious - so we don't need to fear others
God is gracious - so we don't need to prove ourselves.

I did come away from church feeling rather sad and unloved. But that was just lies I was believing.

I had a trip to ASDA to get the last things for my party. I walked round for ages trying to find breadsticks. I don't know how much that was to blame but I felt all over the place. Once Alice arrived, things felt a bit less stressy. Although I remembered I hadn't taken my medication in the morning which probably hadn't helped.

Alice and I did lots of cooking for tomorrow. It was ok at times but I think I would have lost it if Alice hadn't been there.

I'm quite worried about tomorrow but referring myself back to the sermon points, God is great and in control so I don't need to be!
