Rays of light

Look at that unusual light! It looked fantastic, although this shot didn't do it justice.

Another (manically) busy day at work, not helped by day-long headaches. However, after yesterday's drenching, I drove down! But in my defence m'lud, I had to drive right over the other side of town in my lunch break to suss out a possible rehabilitation place for mum after her knee replacement operation. Thankfully, the nursing facility seemed superb, so have made a provisional booking on her behalf.

Guildford was gridlocked tonight as several of the town centre roads were closed off for the annual town centre cycling race. Amazingly, I wasn't aware of the reason for the traffic jam until I was stuck in the middle of it...

D'oh!
