Puente Nuevo, Ronda

Took the train up to Ronda today, through the gorge at El Chorro and the across high plains of olive groves, fields of sunflowers and vast wind farms. Despite its name, the bridge here was built in the 1700s across the gorge to link (Ed: not 'kinky' as I've just noticed predictive text originally had it!) the old and new towns.

It was more touristy than anywhere else we' ve visited but still very attractive with the narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses of the old town we enjoyed an excellent lunch , which include migas, a good way of using up stale breadcrumbs, fried in olive oil and garlic with chunks of chorizo
