After another 7.30 rendezvous with Kate in her school car park to collect Sophie, I was on the golf course by 9 (minus Sophie who wasn't keen to caddy).
This afternoon I drove our friend Dave down to Taunton for his current daily bout of treatment for his cancer of the oesophagus.
Unfortunately, the chemo wasn't as effective as hoped, so he's now in the middle of 3 weeks of radiotherapy to try to shrink the tumour. He remains admirably positive and cheerful - and is still managing to get out on the golf course once a week!
