A special teacher.

Today my lovely friend Kathy taught David to make his first basket.

David is a Scottish Traveller, and his father made baskets. David had made some willow working tools that his father would have used, to show us.

Kathy's dream is to travel Europe learning basket making skills from the Travelling communities, and then publish a book.

Today was quite special for both of them.
And for us, to be there with them :)
