Splash!

Quite a splash of colour here.
This meadow was sown with the intent of attracting creatures such as butterflies, moths, bees, wasps, birds and giraffes.
(Very limited success with the giraffes so far!!)
This morning, two men came to the door and they said that their great grandmother used to live next door.
( Not in my time you understand!)
They were from Zimbabwe and were across here to discover their roots.
I invited them in and we had a chat and swapped e-mail addresses.
(I hope they weren't "casing the joint")
Today is bracket day
