Boomerang Soup!!

When I bought this cucumber plant from a garden centre, the label said they were mini cucumbers.
Well, they are not mini!!
I used a couple of them to make cucumber soup last week. It tasted okay but I have renamed it "Boomerang Soup!" and I won't be making it again!
A couple of little disasters yesterday.
The Dyson packed in when I was hoovering. It started making crackling noises and there was a burning smell!
I was filling the watering can from a hose. I must have turned the tap on too full as the hose took on a life of its own and started wriggling about all over the place!
The result was that I was soaked and had to change all my clothes.
Glad no one saw me!!!
