Mike

For the past 10 years, when we meet a seagull who 'stands out from the crowd' shall we say, we call it Mike. This big, beautiful Mike fought me for my camera strap last night.

Today he untied my shoe lace and tried to steal my gift bag of souvenir mugs wrapped in paper. Silly bird thought it was chips!

Our lesson for today was, on a Monday if you see a man in his 50's wearing gold leather short, shorts (yep, you read that correctly), a flowery shirt, hat and unsuitable shoes, don't judge him unfairly.

He may just be the gentleman who on the Tuesday morning knocks on your door asking if anyone in the house has lost an iPod touch (that'll be the one your daughter claimed was in the holiday house somewhere....!) as he found one on the side of the path and thought it may be ours.
