Bliptogether #4 - Magic Darts!

Ladies and Gentleman, quiet please, I have the greatest of pleasure of presenting to bliptogether darts commentating legend, magic darts himself, Sid Waddell.

Thanks to Sid for being such a fantastic sport. Though I should probably say game, as I have been told, quite firmly, that darts is a game and not a sport. And that's how it should stay, otherwise the players might be required to be sober to play. I can reassure you that there was very little sobriety at our school fundraising darts night tonight. Sid's grandson is a pupil at our school and he very kindly comperes this annual event. He also very kindly brings along Russ "the voice" Bray who may be familiar to any darts fans out there.

It's the second outing for our street team and it turns out that our success last year was purely down to beginner's luck. There are no words to descibe how dreadful our efforts were this year but we had a great time. I wasn't even successful when my raffle number was drawn and I had a shot at throwing for Bully's star prize. Even when I subbed in Sid himself I left with the boobie prize of a t-shirt. Still, on the plus side that darts board would have been a bugger to carry home.

Reminds me of the time my brother "acquired" a bendy Bully, all in the name of some drinking challenge or other, but we should probably gloss over that just in case any of you were the proud owners of said item and have been mourning its loss.

Enough from me, I really need my bed. But hurrah for Sid and hurrah for bliptogether. Am dreading coming up with my own ideas on Saturday.

Hope your evening was as much fun as mine
