A miserable day here, weather-wise. Intermittent bits of sun but mostly gray and rainy.

The atmosphere at work was tense. I think lots of people are thinking about the Match tonight.

They had planned the Leichenschau* for the Bowling Green here and expected 15000 people to attend. With the weather the way it is, I reckon 150 would be a good turnout with the rest of us sat in front of our tellies. In the comfort of our own homes.

*an attempt at showing that the badly named "Public viewing" here just doesn't translate back into German - this means "showing the corpse".
