Cable Street E1
The second day of the Steam Railway 1940s experience brought out even more visitors than the first with the weekend being a huge success.
I managed to walk around the site early to get some snaps of the re-enactors who really get into the spirit of the era. Central to the displays is Cable Street a bombed out area of London complete with Police Station, ARP headquarters, NAFFI wagon and even a full size Spitfire.
I gave this pic. an aged look to make it look a bit more authentic.
I have put some more pics. on Draco's Blippers Overflow site.
