Stormy Skies with Rosy Linings

This was the view of the sky in the evening whilst I was doing dishes at the kitchen window. It began an odd yellowy grey colour before swiftly rolling with a little thunder overhead and changing to pretty sunset pastel colours with lavender and pink.

Tom cooked us a tasty fish supper of trout with lemon and dill and lots of vegetables. It was truly delicious and just what we all needed; especially the boys after their meat and BBQ fuelled surf trip!

Today was Luke's first day at his new job in a lighting architects office and mostly it was just paper pushing and signing HR documents, but he is very happy to be working in the industry that excites him and looks forward to getting his teeth stuck into a project.

Today I am grateful for having dinner ready practically as soon as I walked through the door.
