Meet me in Milwaukee

A sudden change of plans at work led to me making a quick trip to the US. I flew today from Dusseldorf to Atlanta and then onto Milwaukee. Exhausted and jet-lagged after more than 14 hours of travel, my spirits instantly improved when the smiling face of a dear friend met me at the airport.

Kristi had driven 5 hours just to have dinner with me! It was so awesome to see her. Sadly I crashed right after dinner - but since I had a rather large suite she was able to sleep on my hotel room sofa and join me for breakfast on Monday as well :)
