Q121

Q121 is the largest wind tunnel in Great Britain and the largest return-type tunnel in Europe. For forty years it has remained closed and mothballed. Now it forms the centrepiece of an art installation. I say art installation but really the turbine speaks for itself. What I didn't expect was being able to walk THROUGH the tunnel, through the baffles, hug the beautifully formed and angles timbers that made up the propellers. Who cares if my pale trousers got dirty, this was just AWESOME.
