What are you doing next weekend?

The very knowledgeable chap who helped me with my mobile phone this morning is off to the London Film and Comic Convention (Comic Con) next weekend. Once thought to be a strange Japanese fad (the province of the otaku), the melding of fandom and cosplay is now big business around the world. The 'long tail' of the internet and the dense networks of social media have helped to bring fans together on a scale scarcely imaginable twenty years ago. My helper wouldn't tell me what character he is planning to become but his badge said he an iPhone Master is!
