Petrol Pumps
Today the forecast was for rain, so we went to Seaton to ride on the trams. While on our ride, we got out at Colyford. These pumps, in front of a motoring museum, are where Lawrence of Arabia used to buy petrol for his motorbike. It was on a stretch of road not far from here where he was fatally injured in a motorcycling accident.
After the tram ride, we went on to Lyme Regis to visit the Cobb. It started raining while we were there, so we headed back to the car, drove back to Weymouth and, after a bit of hunting around for a place to eat (during which time we got pretty wet), ended up at the Nothe Tavern for a delicious meal!
