Back to normal

Well after a lay in it was back to getting the washing back up to date and tackling the jungle. Oh my goodness somebody must have sprinkled growth dust on the weeds as I have never seen them so big, taller than me some of them. I now regret keeping that tiny bit of fireweed as it has spread like wildfire all around the pond so I have spent most of the day pulling it up !

The lupins and pansies have finished and the pear and apple trees have suffered from the lack of water.

The birds are still around although they are looking rather shabby. The pheasant has lost all it's tail feathers and this robin looks like it has been working hard.

Watched the Tour de France, what a great Country we live in. Yorkshire looked fantastic and what a great turn out.
