If it keeps on raining.......

This afternoon I went to the tip to get rid of a few bits I've been meaning to for ages. It always feels good to have a good sort out.....clears the head!
We have an old cassette player in the car which I've never bothered updating as it works perfectly well and my taste in music is quite retro anyway. A firm favourite of mine and my little boy's is Led Zeppelin and that was the tape of choice today. Finn sat waiting patiently in the car.....
Just as I got out of the car at the tip to dump a load of cardboard (Finn's box from my post the other day) there were two very loud claps of thunder, then I got back in the car to drive down the slope to recycle some bottles just as the heavens opened to the strains of Robert Plant belting out 'If it keeps on raining, the levee gonna break'......perfect timing! We were stranded in the car along with everyone else at the tip who just sat in their cars and watched the storm (hailstones and raindrops that were almost as big as marbles!) It thankfully only lasted about 10 minutes and at least we had Zeppelin for company!
This evening I realised I'd hadn't photographed anything to 'blip' so I polished the table to a high shine and got a couple of Finn's retro cars out of his toybox. As the polish was on the table I decided to give the car a spray and take a shot at the same time......and this is the result........I'm quite pleased with it, it reminds me of today, though our car's not as cool!
