The reason we were in London is that Katie had been chosen to do some modelling for Tamara Lackey, an amazing American photographer I follow. She was in London running a workshop for 15 photographers. We went to the Thistle Hotel at Kensington Gardens before heading to Hyde Park. Katie was AMAZING. She was so confident, happy, energetic and an utter delight for all 16 of them. I was SOOOO proud of her, and she had an absolute ball.

As the session was ending, Uncle Simon arrived!! We headed back to the hotel for complimentary refreshments before the three of us went back to Hyde Park. We went to the Diana Memorial Garden - what a park! We got lunch at the cafe in the sunshine, Katie had a lovely freshly made pizza with ice cream to follow of course. She rode the traditional carousel and befriended some other children on there with her. It was then time to say goodbye to Uncle Simon and head back to our train.

Our train home arrived just in time for ballet. She had her costume fitting for show in two weeks. She has a cute tutu for the dances she will do with the little ones (She's being one of their big girls) and a bloomer set for her show dance (they do some exercises in their uniform and a show piece in costume). She's now all excited for the show!!
