Fourth of July

Our day started with a very nice pancake breakfast sponsored by the Charleston Fire Dept. They served pancakes, with sausage and eggs and plenty of orange juice, coffee, milk and also chocolate milk. We were joined by our younger daugher and hubby. After getting filled up with good food and a long visit, we then drove to the beach in Empire. Daughter took a nice long walk while we sat in the car and enjoyed watching. We then stopped by older daughters and had a nice visit with them. They were out enjoying the day so they served us coffee and we sat out in lawn chairs and enjoyed. Later in the evening we went to Subway and got sandwiches and got a good place to watch the fireworks. I had brought along hot chocolate and cookies. We both read while waiting for the fireworks to begin. A traditional thing we do each 4th of July. A very enjoyable day.
