Lunch at the Chateau - Ore. Caves

A wonderful day spending time with "our kids" after they went through the caves. Hubby and I chose not to go through since there are lots of steps and since my fall didn't feel quite up to it. It was well worth the trip just to be with the kids and enjoy looking through the Chateau that was built in the early 30's. The restaurant is still like it was built in the 30's. The 'diner' feel to it. The food was very good and it was just a fun time. It was also son-in-laws birthday so it was great to celebrate him!! The tiny shot at the end was a bluebird snagging a french fry on the table outside. It was such a nice trip. We started out on a rather gray day, but it turned very nice and warm. We went back to the campground and spent the rest of the day before heading home on Sunday.
