Welcome To My Garden...Spider

This striking Arachnid is a Yellow Garden Spider, sometimes called a Yellow Garden Orbweaver, Black-and-yellow Argiope or a Writing Spider. This is a female. The male builds his web in outlying parts of the female's web, making a white zigzag band vertically across the middle, hence the name Writing Spider. Although it is out of focus, you can see this band in the shot.
