Pretty (Amazing) in Pink

Here is the really pretty amazing Mandy Hearle at today's Woodbridge Carnival, on day 186 of her Mission Possible 2014 - a dare every day for the entire year to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières.

The campaign celebrates the memory of Woodbridge teenager Poppy Harvey, who tragically died in June 2010 when she suffered a fatal allergic reaction.

As pink was Poppy's favourite colour, Mandy's dares are often pink-themed.

On January 1 she jumped into the Deben via a brightly painted wooden plank. Since then she's painted her house shocking pink and spent a day eating only with chopsticks and performed trampoline back-flips and attempted to make 10 cats purr at the local animal welfare centre and managed 50 somersaults in the pool in 10 minutes and tried square dancing and dressed as a dragon for St George’s Day and..

(I want to list them all but I haven't got space - if you want to know the astonishing range of things Mandy has done and will do this year, or fancy suggesting a future challenge for her, why not visit her public Facebook page?

Today Mandy was Her Royal Pinkness, joint winner of the first prize - £500 to charity - in the Queen of Haarts carnival float.
