When did Lyra get so beautiful?

This snap of Lyra blew me away. It's just her mucking about in her great grandpa BB's garden but flicking through my iPhone I found myself suddenly surprised by the beautiful, not so little girl looking out at me.

It's hard to believe that it was half a decade ago this week that I first felt Lyra kick - yet in a few weeks time, she and her sister will be starting school.

Time is motoring by at an alarming rate.
