Reactions to Le Tour...

Television viewers throughout the world have been able to watch Stage 1 of the Tour de France, finishing here in Harrogate this afternoon.

Locally, it was easier to watch on big screens in a number of locations than to fight the crowds in the centre of town, though 'atmosphere' was in short supply.
