Bright and Beautiful

I received these beautiful flowers from the parents of the children in my class, alongside a handmade cake! They were as a thank you for last night's performance. I was really touched, as I wasn't expecting any recognition- it was all about the children

I woke up shattered and my throat was killing me. I went into work, thankfully we could wear our sweats as it's sports day, but after a couple of hours I decided to call it quits. I felt rubbish and was really no help to anybody. I managed to get an appointment at the docs at lunchtime, and luckily for me he said it was tonsillitis and gave me some antibiotics.

I've had a lazy afternoon at home. I tried to finish some of my reports, while I wait for the meds to kick in. Oh, the pain.....

The lovely flowers and cake did cheer me up though :-)
