Flag Hill

Celebrating the independence of USA today; we were at a large gathering of family, friends and strangers. There was much good food to be had, games and conversation. At one point some children discovered the owner's sand pile the he had for a project, and proceeded to carry many of the decorative flags to the pile.
At night we went to the nearby town to see fireworks being set off from an island in the middle of the Columbia river. I attempted photos of that as well, with most intriguing results. One is as if a bowl of spaghetti was just poured from the sky!
