If I can make it there, i'll make it anywhere

That adorable young couple were hubbs n I, 15years ago in the Big Apple on what we like to refer to as our 'delayed honeymoon' (our actual honeymoon was billed as a 'mini cruise to northern spain and back'. In reality it was 3 days stuck on a car ferry in the Bay of Biscay, in storm force gales).
So anyway, New York was amazing, but what nobody warns you about is how much your feet will hurt after walking it's streets. Being built on granite rock, the island has none of the natural shock absorbsion we have come to know and love when 'not' walking on solid rock, and so it can take quite a toll on the old pins.

Today my feet hurt the same way they did in NY. I guess that'll teach me to wear strappy sandles when im helping out in my friends shop all day. Numpty, numpty, numpty.
