A few facts about water:

A water molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms.
It's the major constituent of living things' fluids.
It covers 71% of the earth's surface and it's vital for all forms of life.
748 million people in the world do not have access to safe drinking water (one in ten of the world's population).

I was feeling a bit down this morning, but I've been thinking of how lucky I am in many aspects and I felt a bit stupid about feeling down after that. To start with, I'm amongst the lucky ones who have access to safe drinking water and don't even have to worry about it!

I spent most of my day at home today with the exception of going shopping for food. I decided to have a day of rest to help the healing of my calf, so I didn't have many opportunities for photography. I had to get creative...
