Fan-fare

Curiosity lured me out again and drew me down to the FIFA Fan Park for the second half and extra time of the Argentina/Switzerland match - another epic battle. Met up with some English lads, whose travels round South America were planned around the World Cup. They're staying in a hostel in one of the larger in-town favelas - a little nervous about it, but excited and enjoying themselves all the same. Walking back home afterwards through crowds of happy Argentines, and optimistic US and Belgian fans heading down there for their big match. Another exciting finish, Howard starring as yet another goalie who worked wonders to protect his team, but to no avail in the end.
