Reaching up in their last hours

I love dogwood trees. My favorite ones are the dogwoods with rounder petals (pink) . These are I think Kousa dogwood.
We were sent another picture for the cd cover today. It's a black and white my friend Chris ( raven68) took last year. It has my vote, along with my real head.
I think that would be the clincher.
Tomorrow is the 4th of July. I will be working coming home, napping and going out to sing tomorrow night. It is supposed to rain but, it was supposed to rain tonight. We seem to not be getting it right now. It's all over the rest of the state. We were supposed to be hammered with rain . Not so much. We will be singing at First Friday, the monthly art walk in Portland. They have cancelled the fireworks, postponed until Saturday.
I think this may be our tag line song rain song?
(My voice is the lowest.)

I opted to sleep tonight rather than get into trouble. As I lie here, I feel grossly unsatisfied. I am not fond of that feeling.
In this house, there is no chocolate. There are cherries, mangos and spears of watermelon. Again grossly unsatisfying. Wait!!!!! I have emergency chocolate! AHA!
Oh and by the way, we can make our own fireworks tomorrow night!
