This blip is For wooden boat lovers:
We went over to our neighbor's to consult about the riggers on the boat we brought up here more than a week ago. Think it’s worth a blip to show the finished product..but you need to appreciate how it started HERE… and then we transported it on our car from Seattle, on the ferry, and to to the owner HERE to take to the Island where he brought in people to refinish it. The old riggers were flaking red paint so he had them painted black and wasn’t sure exactly how they went on. So here you go —they did a beautiful job with the cedar hull and fitting the seats, and cleaning and shining. It’s tempting to try to row but I think NOT. She is to admire.

I've made the boat pix into one album on flickr

Cloudy and not so hot. More energy today for some chores including an hour of broom patrol.. It’s hard work but somehow satisfying. (clearing the space around the labyrinth..)
