Heron

The day started with the Easter family service at St.Ninians Old Parish.

We then headed home for a spot of brunch and the Barmy Army to decorate their eggs...this proved a tad challenging as we don't have a lot of felt pens or paints at the moment. I then had a moment of inspiration and remembered all of those nail polishes Es has...they turned out rather well, I think:-)

So then it was off to Airthrey Loch to roll them down some of the hills on the Stirling Uni campus. Job done we had a wee walk round the loch.

Mr R was the first to spot this fella, I was on the other side of the tree and he was hidden from my view. In the loch was a Mammy duck and her ducklings...I wondered why Mr R was creeping about the banks of the loch getting her a bit het up then a spotted Mr Heron. I captured this without putting the fear of man into Mammy duck...men! Managed to get him flying off too.
