Macro love!

I am loving my new lens! From my experience playing with my mum's, I know it works well on people but I haven't had much chance at that. But do you know what we do have a lot of, in the middle of summer? Flowers! And they generally sit still long enough to have their photo taken.

I preferred this shot to my others as there was just enough texture left in the grass for it not to be a flat green blur. Others might think it detracts, but I like it.
