Dubrovnik from the City Wall

Today we walked the 2 km and 740 steps of the famous wall which surrounds the Old City of Dubrovnik. The views from the wall were spectacular - this one shows how many visitors to Dubrovnik arrive with 2 cruise ships moored off the Old Harbour. ( there was another in the new harbour near our hotel.)
It also shows the roof tops of the old city with a large percentage of them replaced with new tiles after the Homeland War. Some of them have a patchwork of old and new tiles.
We will revisit the old city tomorrow - I am sure there is much more to see!
