Ready for Le Tour

After lunch with friends from Wales who were visiting North Yorkshire I had an hour to spare in York. Le Tour de France comes to York on Sunday and there was yellow bunting, yellow flowers and, of course, yellow bikes everywhere.



I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a bike actually in front of the minster as I wanted to show the two together so that it was clear that this was York and not just anywhere. This was the best composition I could get but I guess most people won't recognise it as York :-).

Back blipping as we followed up with a talk at Wakefield Camera Club and didn't get home until nearly midnight.
