Skipton Narrow Boats

When we travelled to London almost a year ago our train was delayed and as a result we received vouchers towards another journey.

As the weather promised to be so good we decided to use them today to have a day out in Skipton.

As well as coffee and lunch we had a walk along the canal. As well as narrow boats we found Humpty Dumpty and Freddie Truman. I remember watching Freddie bowling in test matches in 1965. I was heavily pregnant and had to rest during the afternoons so spent quite a lot of time watching cricket on TV that summer. Humpty and Freddie are the extra photos today.
