Quick Trip

Good to get my sea legs back as I've missed the boat trips for a while...

Did a quick trip out to Rockabill tonight to see how the roseatte terns were getting on. Judging by the continuous dive bombing on the boat things are looking good for them.

Currently the island is manned by two wardens to ensure the safety of the nesting sites, the biggest and most important in Europe with approx 700 nesting pairs.

Looking forward to my next visit...equipped with a hard hat....just saying
