Blessing Of The Graves

Usually the last weekend of June is the blessing of the graves when the parish gathers in the graveyard to honour those whose shoulders we now stand on.

So at 2pm today I was parked in a prime spot for the 3pm start hoping for a quick getaway to catch the 4pm boat to the island.... It never happened.....Unfortunately with double and triple parking I only got away too late....but what is there to say to a man taking a wheelchair and oxygen tank out of his car?.... C'est va vie...

On a more positive note I went, instead, to a craft fair and nabbed some cooking goodies......just saying
