Hay meadow

Staying with a cousin while down south for the wedding of another cousin's daughter, I went with her to walk the dog on the common.

Struggled to get a photo that could capture the sense of wind-swept space, and the rich colour palette of the grasses & flowers that make up the hay. Decided to opt for a photo of airy space rather than flowers as it is such a contrast to the narrow closed-in lanes that stretch down from this high point to the surrounding Chiltern valleys.
