Valle De Abdalajis

We've spent a lazy Sunday by the pool in yesterday's blip, reading (J K Rowling's The Cuckoo's Calling in my case - and a good holiday read it's proving) and enjoying the view, apart from a lunchtime stroll down the hill into town for beer & tapas.

The bars were busy with locals but everywhere else was Sunday quiet; this tiled decoration around the fountain in the main square includes a pretty accurate representation of the town (though we didn't spot any of the exotic bird life).

Just discovered that you can cook pizza on a BBQ for that authentic wood fired taste (i.e. the base was burnt).

We're going to try to drag ourselves away from the pool tomorrow.
