For Yvonne

My older sister collapsed early this morning and died (from a brain haemorrhage) about four hours later. Quite unexpected, and totally devastating for us all, but especially her 16 mokopuna (grandchildren) and one great grandchild.

The news of her death was given me by her older daughter, before dawn. So I decided that before heading to Tauranga, I would take my morning run, and get this week's Sunday Sunrise especially for her. Never a photographer, and only recently connected via FaceBook (not totally comfortable with technology), she told me that she always looked at my blips on FaceBook.

She especially liked my photos of sunrises at Snells Beach. This one is for her.
