Banded Demoiselle

Another day of gardening. Mrs Blackbird is sitting on yet more eggs in the nest so still preventing the hedge cutting.  

Explored some local footpaths in the afternoon. Climbed over a stile from an overgrown path into an area of managed woodland. It was wonderful - a place to spend more time on m next visit.

Got a few shots of this damselfly.  Then I tried moving the blade of grass in front of it and it flew.
