Outdoor theatre

A grey day, but it stayed dry whilst I tidied up the garden this morning and this evening when we had our picnic in Doddington Hall grounds. The performance of Much Ado About Nothing performed by the Shakespeare Globe Touring Company was first class.

I was never a Shakespeare fan when I was at school, it was wasted on me, but the superb acting and humour this evening made it most enjoyable. It was hard to believe that it is a June evening, people wrapped up in jackets and blankets in order to try to keep warm!!!
