Dinner theatre....
I was at the Post Box Cafe in Chorlton. It's in an unassuming little 1960s building near to the Post Office. You might pass it by en route to one of its flashier, more well known neighbours. That would be a mistake. The coffee is great, the cakes are innovative and delicious and I am amazed at the quality of food that comes out of its tiny kitchen. Our kitchen at home is larger and I can trash it making an omelette. The welcome is warm as well.
It's an innovative place as well with the owners doing all kinds of things to attract people. They are about to do one of their events. In collaboration with the Chorlton Players they are doing a dinner theatre event. While you are enjoying some delicious food, a play unfolds around you.
While I was waiting to talk to Chris, the owner, the cast were having their last rehearsal....
