Another Visitor to the Cat Mint!

Dear Diary,

Butterflies, Bees, Hummingbirds and now a Hummingbird Moth! (Although I call them 'teddy bear moths' for their furry bodies!) This is why I plant cat mint all around my house. It attracts so many little creatures! I also plant it because it is very drought tolerant and easy to transplant and I love the blue color.

The garden goes through color phases. Yellow and white in early spring with the daffodils and right now it is all blue and pink with the cat mint and peonies. Soon the yellow and oranges of summer will appear with the day lilies and painted daisies. No fuss budgets in this landscape! I just have to sit back and watch the continually changing show and the lovely creatures who share it with me.

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.
