A Refuge from the Rain

I nipped into the Post Office in the garden centre on my way home from photo group (where amazingly my local landscape photo got the most votes), in the space of less than a minute the heavens opened with a deluge and I had left my jacket and brolly in the car. As it was the sort of rain that would soak you through in 2 seconds I decided to wait it out and amuse myself inside. I spent quite a while browsing the many books that they sell but the small 'humorous' section caught my eye for a blip. I have seen the little book on the right before but the one on the left was a new one for me and I thought it was a very amusing title but as I'm not a not-too-modern male I didn't look inside ;-))) I'm guessing it's probably far more amusing in my head than what is actually in the book anyway :-)

I'm so glad I took some photos of my lovely pink poppies yesterday as the heavy rain today has knocked all the petals off :-(
