Purple Paradise for Bugs

I'm not a happy bunny........we loaded up the car to go for a nice walk in the nature reserve, I was just pulling away from the house when my air conditioning packed up and with it the ventilation system and radio/clock display :-((( Thinking it might be something to do with the computer, I turned off the car and started it up again....it ran but the display and air con still didn't work. We postulated that it might be a fuse but not being very mechanical we decided to drop into the garage as they know the car better than I do :-) So after a roasting journey.....turns out the electric windows didn't work either :-(( we arrived at the garage....they obligingly dropped everything and tried to find the problem (lovely people).....part way through the car decided to activate the immobilizer, so the ******* thing wouldn't even start then :-((((((((((
The man who runs the garage said sometimes it can be a faulty key card so he gave me one of the spare cars and sent me home to fetch the other card, even though the garage was due to shut in half an hour and it would take at least that for me to get home and back............Anyway, long story short..........the car didn't start, it had to stay in the garage and will probably be in there most of the week but the lovely garage man gave me one of the loan cars to have for the whole time (I can't recommend that garage highly enough - (not that I would actually do such a thing on Blip - no advertising) , there can't be many around that would give that sort of service at the drop of a hat :-)) I just thank my lucky stars that we didn't ignore the problem and go straight to the remote nature reserve.........or we might still be there now  ;-))))
