Meltwater
On my way back from walking J back to work on the Green, I was drawn by the still half-frozen lake, holding what remains of our cold 'snap'. I put my coat on the muddy ground ad lay on my side like a loon, trying to get an angle on the ice (made more interesting by the fact that it had been smashed in several places, leaving bits and pieces everywhere, very similar to various smashed bus shelters I've seen). I could have spent ages there, but had to get home with the wife and wean. Lovely interlude though; I'm glad I saw it before it melted away. Some more:
